Re: RG7420 upgrading taking suggestions

Well, the new Crunchlab/Liquifire combo would be nice, I've heard nothing but great things about those two. Or you could go with an Evo in the bridge, Air Norton in the neck...PAF combo, or Blaze combo...It really depends on what type of sound, what type of music you play. Tons of options as far as pickups go.

The only other upgrade you would need to do is scrap the Lo-trs and get an OFR-7. But if you're not having any tuning issues..you could hold off on that....

Try the Evo in the bridge....That cuts through concrete....

Have you considered Bareknuckle Pick-ups?

I have used a Blaze in the bridge and a Norton in the neck. Nice combo, kinda like fire and ice. I like the smooth Norton and the crunchy Blaze (without being too gnarly) combo.

I was checking out the Duncan blackouts too. They look like they might be cool.

Re: RG7420 upgrading taking suggestions

Pickups have to be changed, but it all depends on music style. Nobody uses evo or d activator for jazz... well, at least i wouldn't. I am a big fan of blaze pickus for all positions, but if you want more juice than get something with high output from dimarzio lineup.
