RG7421 work...

so i brought my RG7421 into luthiery school, it ate pavement one day, while i was in my last band, and as a joke i painted a huge red pentagram on it and gave it red inlays, with nail polish of course, its the only way. anyways, it was a real pile of crap, heres a before picture, lots of "character" but i wanted to make it the nicest RG7421 ever, and seeing as i'm in luthiery school right now, i've got the ability to do that, so i stripped all the paint off, rounded the sharp edges a little bit, made the comfort curves a bit rounder, and put a book matched flame maple top and head cap on it. i also removed the fingerboard and replaced it with an ebony board... its not finished quite yet, i'll finish it after i finish the guitar i'm currently building, but heres a pic, its gonna have a blank fingerboard with the exception of the 2 dots i have drilled in this pic, gonna use 4mm diameter mother of pearl dots for it... its got silver side markers...
heres the before:

Re: RG7421 work...

that's gonna be one hell of a guitar. i'm gonna invest in an RG7321 at some point soon and do some work to it, i'm not terribly satisfied with my current 7.
