Re: RGA F-Spaced or not?

At any rate, try to find a reputable service tech to work on your guitar. Just because they have SAM-ASH on the door doesn't mean the guy knows what he's doing. My guitar was returned with buzzing 4th, 5th & 6th strings and a loose 1st string tuner. I took it back and I ended up with high action and a buzzing 4th string! Mind you, originally it had wonderfully low action before he installed the breeds. For some reason he felt he needed to adjust the truss rod and polish the frets without discussing it with me. Needless to say, I've taken it to another shop to have it repaired. I'm crossing my fingers and saying prayers to the grand pubba in the sky.

The F-spaced pickup could still be a tad wider, so yes for this guitar F-spaced is the way to go.
Cool. Thanks for the info.

The breeds seemed like they were lacking alot of top-end to me but it has been a few years since I owned my DBK. I wouldn't have thought MOP tones at all but maybe that's just me. I usually run my amp EQ settings at 12 o'clock and let the guitar woods, pickups and my hands do most of the coloring since I use different guitars with usually different pickups in the same night for gigs. It would annoying as hell to have to reset my EQ everytime I swapped guitars.

Just my 2 cents.

Here are some pics of my F-Spaced Dimarzios for the RGA121:

And one of the original V7 and V8 pickups. I don't know if they are F-spaced or not:
