RGA Series. A step in the right direction?

I gotta say, I think it is. Getting high end fixed bridge guitars with a lovely finish (Im looking at you Violin Flat). It means Ibanez are trying new things and its working out. Anyone know if those bridges can be bought seperately?

I agree, it is a postitive thing. I've always liked Ibanez guitars, but I don't feel very comfortable playing a trem-equipped guitar; and since I wanted a higher-end guitar, the RGA was a good choice for me.

I'd like to know that, too.

I hope they'll put out more RGAs in the future. One with a quilted maple top would be awesome.

I've still not had the pleasure of playing one. Last time I saw any guitar shop with any in stock they had all the RGA models, but they were deemed expensive enough to wire up to the security thing so I didn't bother asking to try it.

I'd say as well as those RGAs they could do some Prestige RG hardtails (basically RG321 sort of thing but Prestige).

They did, I own one.
An Ibanez RG2771 Prestige. Great guitars, I play mine to absolute death.

Check out my pics of it.

Re: RGA Series. A step in the right direction?

They show the bridge in the Ibanez parts site, 2GR1CB43K, but there is no price listed in the pricing section. I own the RGA 121 TKF, and is becoming my fav! It's nice to be able to switch from my EDGE Pro guitars, to the RGA Gibralter Plus keeping the same 25.5 scale, fretboard radius 430, and wizard neck. My Prestige Artist is getting a lot of "case time" lately.
