RGA121 Trem?

Hi,

I have an RGA121 which i want to thoroughly customise, I really would like a trem, something like a wilkinson vs100 trem or similar, wondered if it would be possible to do this on one ?

Also can't decide on pickups, thinking Dimarzio D-Activator bridge and neck as ive heard the tonezone/norton combo dont go too well in this guitar.

Thanks for any help,

Jamie

Installing a Wilkinson on a RGA would be a easy job for a guitar tech.

Tone Zone works great in RGA, why wouldn't it?
Air Norton in the neck works great too.

Don't believe in crazy talk like "dont go too well in this model", it is not like all guitars from the same model sounds the same, not even close.

Re: RGA121 Trem?

I agree with mag, a dimarzio tone zone will sound awesome in the bridge and i'd go for a paf pro in the neck, although an air norton would also be a fab choice.

As i remember the 121 has a mahogony body and a maple cap and as i've got an rg of the same construction with a paf pro and a tone zone, i can tell you now it'll be a bit les pauly sounding with a bit more zing and great harmonics!

The wilkinson vs trem will fit straight on with pretty much no effort. Its pretty much exactly what they are made for.
