rgt

hey whats up people. well, i want to get a new 6 soon.i already have 2 rg321's .\but its definitly time for something new even though i just got a 7321 about 3 months ago. ive been stickin with fixed bridges and i think i will again. im not that floyd type of guy, as i play anything ranging from shadows fall to korn etc.anyway my choice has narrowed down to two guitars. i can already tell you both of them would play and feel to my prefernce as ive played one of them but i need your help with one thing. my local shop has one of the guitars i would want, which is the natural flat rga121. it costs 700, sweetest guitar ever.plays like a dream. but the other choice of guitar would be an rgt42dxfx, the fixed bridge one in flat black. though ive seen numerous stock photos and ive seen the 1 on ibanezrules from the namm show, id like to know if any of you all have one and have pics of it along with any input . thanks . later-ryan

Re: rgt

Dude, take the RGA if you can afford it. I can guarantee you that the RGA will smoke that RGT42 any day of the week. Plus, for that price I'm almost tempted to drive up to Maryland and buy the guitar for myself.

Re: rgt

Hey Munky, I posted pics of mine (after the pickups were replaced) on the other thread you posted on. Thread title is "really impressed with rgt42" or something like that. Anyway, I think the guitar is awesome. Before having this guitar I played a strat and a parker fly, both with pretty thin necks. This neck feels a bit thicker and I like that full feeling. The guitar sounds great too. Don't let anyone scare you with all that "finished necks make you slow" stuff...it makes 0 difference...atleast to me...I like it a lot, but I can't compare it to the others since I haven't played them so try to ask someone who played them both.

Re: rgt

That's weird that the RGA321 costs more there but the RGA121 costs less. I could get an RGA321 from my local shop for about $1400 but an RGA121 will run me about $900. Honestly, I'd kill to have the RGA321 but it is WAY out of my price range. Maybe if I save up for about 6-8 months I can afford an RGA121, though. Since they're the same basic guitar and I'd change the pickups anyway, it's not too big of a loss. The RGA321 just has a look of luxury and total awesomeness about it that makes me wish I was a much richer man.
