RGT42... Anyone have one? Need Input.

Hey everyone, I was thinkin of buying one of these. Have read some good reviews on them, and have always liked neck-thru guitars. I've owned several RG guitars(a 570 and a 470), as well as some Jackson USA guitars. But the Ibanez's were always my favs except that I always was hoping to find a good neck-thru Ibanez. Anyway, if any of you own one of these, let me know how you like it, and any input or advice from anyone on these i would appreciate it. Thanks.

I just got a dark red one this weekend. I haven't had the chance to play it for very long, but it seems to be a very good guitar. This is actually my first Ibanez guitar in about 10 years. I bought one of the original Talmans, but sold that long ago. For a Korean neckthru guitar, the quality is pretty nice. And, the price was right too!

i played one at my dealer's & was impressed. was gonna invest in one but i went for the SZ model instead (also set neck). the RGT42 is a value-for-$$$ guitar & it sounds good off the rack, however those default pickups aren't everyone's cup of tea. if you don't whammy + you want a set neck ibanez, do give the SZ a consideration.

I'm actually really impressed with the INF1 and INF2 pickups. I think they're pretty similar to a few DiMarzio models. You can always swap out the pickups if you don't like them.
