Roadcore official page :D

Finally the Ibanez Japan site got an update a few days ago, and we get this AWESOME Roadcore page:

http://www.ibanez.co.jp/japan/news/f...ore/index.html

What makes me happy to see is that Ibanez finally got some Endorsers for the Roadcore here in Japan. I don't know who they are, and they probably play typical boring J-rock or some other poppy stuff I could care less about, but seeing this, and seeing people here endorsing Ibanez, and specifically, the Roadcore, is EXACTLY what I wanted to see out here. Maybe people here will start paying more attention to Ibanez now. I'm so happy about this

Re: Roadcore official page :D

So I researched on of the new Roadcore artists: Naka Shigeo from the Surf Coasters. This is his Roadcore (probably from the custom shop):

As much as I'd like to oblige, I have no clue about surf music beyond the beach boys and have NO idea how to play that style of music I'm a metalhead

I CAN try some basic 12 bar blues if you want. Don't expect BB King out of me though

Yes, join the Jemsite Contest with it (if you get it in time), would be cool!

Nope, getting it on March 1st and won't have time to really work out bugs in the track.

I'll be making a demo of it, don't worry. Also, some cowbelling either tomorrow or the day after

I have no clue, but this is the audience Ibanez wants with this guitar it seems. Hey, if more people use Roadcores here, the happier I am. Take business away from Fender and Gibson

I dunno, I like the natural headstocks more. I'm planning a carvin bolt that may be natural headstock.

For me, at that price point, it's a deal breaker it might be 'vintage' but I just can't stand bare headstocks . I love the body shape on these though

Re: Roadcore official page :D

Oh and the maple necks look ok, with the natural as it matches the fretboard. It's the finished bodies, rosewood boards and oops forgot the headstock ones (like the very top of the range one) that bug me

Well I usually like colored headstocks (preferably color matching body) as well, but something about the RCs just speaks to me. I dunno, the fact that I played one back in December makes me not think about it as much as how awesome the guitar was to play. I can understand how you feel though, something seems missing when looking at a bare headstock.

EDIT:

I agree about the 2720 though. That thing NEEDED a color matched headstock. That bare headstock looks out of place. I'm getting the 1720M, so it being a maple fingerboard maybe makes it look a lot nicer.
