Re: RT series

Here s mine. It started out as a semi beat up RT 650, but it was heavily customized, including new top, new binding, new pickguard new finish on the neck (with matching headstock), Di marzio humbuckers and a fender single coil.

The first 8 pics are of the RT, but the 3rd one is the only one with good lighting (from the front) and hence, the one thats more accurate to the actual look of the guitar.

i found one at a local pawn shop for 70 bucks. someone had covered it in black fleckstone paint. it looked like a spray in bedliner! anyway, the body is totally stripped now, awaiting a 5a curly maple veneer. i was wondering how to go about swapping the 6 hole trem for a floyd. any body have experience with something like this? also, i'm not sure about being able to mount a locking nut because the hole for the truss rod adjustment is partially in the fret board. please help if you can. thanks in advance.
Leave the six hole bridge on there. It will work fine if setup correctly and it has better tone because there is more contact with the body than just two pivot points. Just read up about setting up a strat bridge. Then get some good locking tuners instead of a locking nut. Install a graphtec nut and a graphtech or roller string tree. It will be awsome!

Re: RT series

Here's the RT450 I put together for my son. I took the pictures a few months ago and forgot to post them. Yes, that's one of those bay Cyber Nikki pickguards, but he's happy with it.

Sorry about the smuges.

Re: RT series

Neat guitar, and I kind of like that pickguard. Looks pretty cool and different on a natural finish type guitar.

Real Nice Guitar RCB! I just love that red color. The body kind of reminds me of Red Lace.

Re: RT series

I took a couple more pictures of my son's guitar today. It's very hard to capture just how deep the shine is and how beautiful the natural grain is. The second picture starts to show the shine a little (notice the reflection of the trem and tone knob), but the first and third shows stain color more accurately.

Re: RT series

I found my RT650 in a pawn shop. I replaced the stock pickups with BKP's. The body has a couple chips but I'm going to leave it as is. It's a great sounding guitar, it just needed some help from new pickups. Not sure how to post pics so I don't have one up yet.

Does anyone know where you can get a nut for these guitars? Mine has a small chip by the high E and the groove is cut too deep on the B. Any ideas on replacements.

Re: RT series

guys, i just picked up an old rt150 and was wondering where to snatch up a tortoise pickguard for it. the deep red finish is ass, so i will be stripping it. i got some duncans on the way for it and really would like a new pickguard to set the whole guitar off. any help?
