RT452AM 12 string-another oddball added to the "Forest&

I picked up a pointy-headed 12 string today and must say I am impressed. Unlike must "12's" I have played(my old Rick comes to mind) it has a wider fretboard and is quite easy to play even with my sausage fingers. The only thing I would change are the V8 and V7 pickups-not exactly the ticket to "chimesville". Anyone elso have/had one of these? I have wanted another 12 string electric for quite some time now and found this wierdo on the 'net. It is the perfect twin to myRT450AM and very usable too. Z

(Moderators-sorry about doubling up((12-strings)) on the "other Ibanez 6-string area, where else would this go?)

I had one last year.Very easy to play, definitely needs better pickups. You might even have the one I sold on ebay last spring.I bought it from a pawnshop in phx.The neck reminded me of a strat.Good find, love to hear it with some good pickups.enjoy, mike

I also had one a few years ago. It was fun to play, but it was butt ugly. Mine was *I think* butterscotch, with a doo doo brown tortoise shell pickguard.

Lots of fun to play, and I would pick one up again if I could find another as cheap as the last one. Man, those RTs are real sleepers.

It's alright, just think of it as being double parked or something

I've had an RT452 for awhile...cool guitar. Done a few gigs with it and it's turned out to be a nice addition to the family. Now, if I can only get the RT750 up and running, I'll be set!
