Re: The S series guitar thread.

Wow, that Korean S' ZR is not straight... That's really bad. But maybe it didn't come from the store like that. Maybe it's a result of whammy abuse? It might be possible.

Here's my ZR. As you can see, it's perfectly OK.

The build quality of my Korean S is pretty good, I think. The INF pickups don't have a lot of clarity distorted, though. But my guitar is one of the cheaper Ibanezs, so it was to be expected, I guess.

Black or gold hardware??? I like the black hardware best. It isn't as common.

Nope, that's brand new out of the box. The pup ring is crooked too.

Wow, I didn't expect that from Ibanez. That's surprising. I guess I'm lucky I didn't have to send mine back, because of a thing like that.

Re: The S series guitar thread.

How I fix a floppy trem bar...

Teflon tape (plumbers tape)

Tighten nut on back of trem bar holder. Make sure trem bar holder is screwed in all the way. Don't use a screw driver in the front slot...it will mess it up. I use vise grips or needle nose from behind like in this picture..

Just trying to keep it interesting.

Rock on!!!

I love the gold one, couldn't afford one when they were available so I had to settle for S470. It's not until in 2002 that I got myself a S540FMttsand recently a S540LTDsol when I was in Indonesia.
