S series prestige vintage violin

I currently have on offer(to me that is) an Ibanez S series prestige vintage violin, and it will go very nicely with my RG3120vv.

Does anyone have any idea what model this may be cause the chap selling it doesnt know.

all I know is, htat it now has seymour duncans, 2 hums and a single. gold hardware, wavey inlay on 12th fret. and its mint condition

hope some one can help (I have gone through the US catalogues to no avail)

THanks

I'm pretty sure the guitar you're talking about is a s1540. I remember seeing it in in my 2002 euro catalogue. It was available with a green burst or with vintage violin finish. Both models had gold hardware, Lo-Pro Edge, and QM pickups originally.
...and they're neat guitars. go get it

Well I bought the guitar and what a guitar. I really am a very lucky chap, to have an RG3120 and an S1540, both vintage violin, and all I do is play for my own pleasure in my office nowadays.

What to buy next is the question.....lol.
