Re: S2075FW

I got sniped at the last second on an auction for one that went for $660 (I WAS MAD AS A MOFO!!!). But I haven't seen very many of these used. For some reason, they just aren't big sellers. In fact, there are several online companies that still have these in stock from last year.

FWIW, I just noticed that the guitarist from All That Remains uses one in their "Calling" video, so I'm sure there will be a great deal of fanboys trying to get their hands on one. I guess I should consider them auction competition.

If you find one and can't get it for yourself, give me a heads up!

Re: S2075FW

I'm not too fond of that guitar. I don't think that particular wooden top looks so cool.

There's one for sale here. This shop looks reliable. Apparently, it's been around since 1972.

I think it's a bummer that this guitar is no longer available.

I think it's great. It's got a HH pickup configuration, instead of a HSH. Which I find really cool. And the wooden top looks great too. And it's got a D-tuner... Too bad it's no longer being made.

Why not consider one of these, Unknown Doodl3.2? They're both 2006 prestige models. As far as I know the only difference really, is the absence of a D-tuner. And the wood looks different. But they're very much along the same lines.

S2170FB (Figured bubinga top)

S2170FW (Poplar burl top)

At one point I was really falling in love with the S2170FB. But then I just thought 'Nah...'. I already had the Ice blue S, which you see below, so I decided not to buy it.

S470IB (Ice blue)

Re: S2075FW

Reason I'm going for the S2075 is that im hoping to get one used in great condition, my absolute favorite is the 2170 to be honest.

Any thoughtd on the S1520 prestige? I have the chance to get one right now for about the same price as a new S470 over here and I imagine the 1520 is a superior guitar?? I mean I'd rather get a new prestige with the ZR trem but I can't afford that new right now so I see this as my best option...

Re: S2075FW

I though Ibanez had changed their locking nuts to front mounted?

So I need help to make up my mind, its either the 470 with the ZR, or the 1520 with the prestige neck, which one do I want more? >.>.... gahhhh

actually, I will prolly just save up for a while and get what I want...

Re: S2075FW

I would really go for S1520 (I have S1520 FB). For me it sounds better than S470, Lo-pro keeps in tune greatly, QM pickups are fair, and if you find prestige necks better in feeling so there's nothing to think about. Just go for it...only if it's in good condition ofcourse !

Re: S2075FW

The HH dark finish posted above there, that is exactly what I want, and it is also unfortunate that they don't make them anymore. Japanese made, Wizard I neck with the ZR trem...mmm the ecstacy =)
