S470 (newbie here)

I'm a newbie in the biggest sense of the word.

Just bought my first guitar which is an Ibanez S470. I came to find out it's missing what the owner calls "the tremolo cap".

I can't find any literature on the trem cap. Is it expensive? Will it effect the playability of the guitar?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

No idea what that is. Perhaps the locking nut pads at the nut?

Thanks. Worst case, how much $$ am I looking at in order to make it play well?

Do they sell nuts individually on the web somewhere or do I need a whole new trem?

i think it's just the back plate that covers the trem springs....doesn't affect playing, but if you want one you should be able to get it for like $5-10

I never would have thought of that, but it IS an S470, unless it's current issue, (it's used too) it has a TRS, unless crazy japanese/european/Australesian Ibanez S470's had Edges after all...

Still, doesn't sound like it could be anything that expensive. If it's the locking nut (Which still doesn't make sense...) then maybe like $20?
