I was at the local GC the other day and saw guitar by the name of Saracola. It was a one peice tung oiled mahog tele styled body. But it had a gibson stop tail, one SDhum(bridge), and a mystery single coil(neck). Looked kinda like a Carvin Holdsworth....except the headstock was SUPER 80's. A reverse...like...arrow looking thing. It was way past cheesey and straight into the "cool" genre just for looking so...well...80's! Maybe my sense of style(and humor) is preverted, but I loved it. The neck played exactly like an old charvel...same size, contours etc. Sounds great too(gotta love mahog).
Does anyone have any information on who or what Saracola is? Is it an old company, like ? Ibanez would be and is today? or was it a parts outfit like Warmouth? Handmade? CNC?
I can not find diddly on Saracola. No reveiws/information about them anywhere on the entire information super highway, so I ask you for help.
Id like to go pick it up today or tomorrow regardless, but I like to have all of the information before a purchase just because Im like that...?
Anyone here own one or have any info? Guys/few girls?
