Saying goodbye....RG1527

I traded my RG7620 for my son's RG1527 in the spring. Many of you have seen this neck on my OOTS swirl. I had big plans for this guitar, but too many projects and LIFE have gotten in the way of that. I'll be trading it off to another Jemsite member on Thursday so I though now would be a good time to say what a great guitar this is, even being stock!!!

I'm sure many of you know the 1527 very well, so I thought maybe you'd all share your stories/opinions of them in this thread. I'm also throwing up the pics I took tonight, mainly so the person I'm trading with can see it, but also to have my first GGD (goodbye guitar day....LOL)

Anyway, here it is:

Re: Saying goodbye....RG1527

Well, the 1527 is gone.........it was somewhat depressing handing her off to Ridealot, especially for Damien, but this is what I traded her for.........

I'm extremely happy with this guitar!! (Damien--- not so much.......LOL)

Look for an NGD thread soon.

What do you mean I'm not happy with the guitar? I think it's awesome! I just miss the 1527 for the setimental value. First seven, First REAL quality guitar, hell, it was my first Ibanez! But I love this rg565 too

I love my 1527 and my 7620, But I think I would have done the trade also.

I'm really happy with the trade. I don't feel like I (we) traded "up", but it was certainly a lateral trade.

Damien has the 7620 which, IMO, is far superior to the 1527. His just needs a refinish pretty badly.
