Scored from the local Guitar Store!!

I found this at Spacetone Music in San Antonio. Its a Guild X-88 in a gorgeous candy pink. It sports a factory Kahler trem and EMG's. Sounds totally killer!! From the little I have learned it was supposedly designed by Mick Mars back in the early/mid 80's. I heard he used one in a video and on the back of an album cover. If you know any more then me, then please let me know!!

That's true, you don't see many. Though the store had 2 of them, bought from the same seller at the same time. This one and a solid black one.

You're not kidding. I was in Sydney a couple of months ago and wandered into one of the music shops (Allans, I think). They had some nice gear, but when I ran my currency converter I about choked. I feel for you guys. Even in incredibly expensive Hawaii, I can get online pricing at one of the local stores. Though for anything Ibanez, I would still go to Rich.

And this is why the music shop industry is so difficult and cut throat here...overpriced wholesale!

My local store doesn't stock Seymour Duncan pickups because the wholesale cost to them is about $170!! EACH!!

Intresting headstock on that guitar.

I buy exclusively from the states for most parts. People complain to me about not supporting my country. When the prices are not insane and I can actually get them, I will.
