Series: pros and cons - Thinking about trading an American T

Just wanted to get some feedback, (no pun intended.) from those of you who know alot more about Ibanez guitars. As you all know I own an RG 550 and A couple of Teles just wonderd if the S series would be worth it? I've been eyeing this particular guitar for some time now, probably the last eight months or so, and is she gorgeous. *It's the blue flame top that's got me thinkin, but looks aren't everything. If they were, I wouldn't be making this post. *So, I guess my que que are: since I already own an RG, is the S worth the trade? What could the tone of this guitar be compared to?

Which S series? If you're going to get a S1220, S1520, or S2120, I'd say go for it. A S470 is kinda crappy though.

The S Classic series is nice, I have a SC420. Fixed bridge, nice neck.

In my experience, S-series guitars are more "light weight" physically and tonally than RGs... Mostly, I find them thin, but that's me... I definitely prefer Jems/RGs, and I guess my point here (since I should pro'ly try and have one) is that they are very different from RGs in my opinion...

Now given a choice between a tele and an S-series, I'd choose the tele (unless it was a Prestige or J-Custom S, and then... )
