they trem arn is stock... i think. it came that way
But thats on the purple one. the new one is the red/yellow burst.
You guys are nore likely to find a PMC than one of these guitars.
To my knowledge, Myself and Rich Horner hold the only mass collection of these guitars. If anyone else has more than 1, they are quiet as a church mouse about it..
Actual number of production is a mystsery *but speculation says that there were only about 100 of these made and only a handful of the quilts made.
My main reqsoning for the quantity is this:
I ahve seen 5 of this and own 3., I know Rich who currently owns 4 of them.
the serial numbers are hidden.. i wont tell where, butthey are production sequential.. none of them have a serial number over 100...
There are other Masters like the one Rich had sold to another forum member. the least expensive version.
While the less expensive models are still cool. they dont appeal as they do not have the abilone/pearl *or offset inlays or the mahogony backside and quilt tops and birdseye maple.
the cheap version is neck thru with dot/oval inlays and alder/basswood body. No flair.
the next in line is the one just aquired by another member on ebay it is a nice quilt with birdeye but lacking the nice inlays...
the model numbers are as follows:
MA2HSH (cheap ones)
these last 2 are questionable as to the source.
There are also 2 bass models which i beleive to be the rarest:
I have never seen them..
Here are the specs:
