Show me your 770's

Been wanting to post this thread for a while but I was waiting to get my RG770DXLB assembled..

Sorry but the lighting is pretty bad at my new place...

Here are my 770's

L-R (Above Photo)
1.)"Akane" 2008 RG770DXRR, TZ in Bridge, Air Norton in Neck, C3 middle, Thinest neck out of the 4 (not by much but enough to notice), Set up with 9's

2.)"Cheryl" 90RG770DXLB, Original Pups, Set up with 10's

3.)"Avalene" RG770DXVM, Orginal Pups, Set up with 9's

4.) "Victoria" RG770FM, Original Pups, Set up with Heavy Bottom 10's

Although the Reissue is my favorite as far as feel goes the VM get played the most.

I sold my RG770 to Ryc!

Does this count? LOL!

It's a 770 with a fancy finish

Re: Show me your 770's

Just had this in another thread but I add it here with these other beauties. Mine's a 1990 RG770FM Cherry Burst. Added gold hardware with an EDGE Lo-Pro. Top-hat knobs. Scalloped frets 21-24. Dimarzio 5-way switch. Dimarzio FRED bridge, newly installed IBZ/USA C2 (original one with the green and red wires), and Evolution neck pickup. This baby sounds awesome and plays even better. Probably my heaviest RG and thinnest neck. Would love to see anyone elses FMs. They seem to be pretty hard to come by.

I don't think the USA Customs should be included. They were loosely based on the 770 but had any of 6 different necks and 3 different pickup combos. HSS (760), HSH (770), or single H (765). Although Jesse's is a 770 configuration.

Re: Show me your 770's

Wow.. I have not seen a 770FM CS burst quite like yours. Most of the one out there have more of the amber in the middle.

Personally, I really don't like how the Cherry and amber transistion into each other.. It is to abrupt if that make any sense..

But yours on the other hand looks gorgeous!!! The gold just makes it classy...

Love it!!!!!!

Re: Show me your 770's

Thanks. I got this from a fellow Jemsite member. It is the most striking 770 I've seen although your 770TB is very nice. My CS just has a subtle burst and the red on the edges is so deep that I would call it Blood Red. Not all your typical ruby or candy red.
