since everyone had a cry over spelling!

I'm going to make a post with good spelling so you don't b***h about it. i found out that the Jackson guitar in my previous post was too expensive in Australia, so i want to compare the Ibanez rg1570 and the PRS SE Paul Allender model. Has anyone tried either one of these? what would you recommend?

Re: since everyone had a cry over spelling!

1570 far and away is the guitar to get. The SE's aren't bad guitars, but they aren't near what Ibanez does with a prestige. Wizard Neck, Edge Pro trem. You couldn't get better than that.

Also, aren't SE made in Korea? The 1570 is made in Japan. Here in Nagoya.

See, you could do it all along. And guess what you seem twice as smart. Just do it this way from now an and it won't ever be a problem.

Re: since everyone had a cry over spelling!

The sheer comparison of an RG1570 against a Flying V is like comparing apples to oranges. Comparing the same RG to a PRS SE, it's a closer comparison but it still not in the same neighborhood.

that's what i was going for .

ok well i can tell that no one likes the PRS compared to the Ibby, so IL get the rg1570. but i was wondering how much would it cost approx. to get it customised with the following

-quilted maple veneer on body
-sunburst paint

any ideas?? Australian dollars as well!

If you're going through with that level of customizing, why don't you find a used RG550 or similar?

From what I gather on UK [email protected] there is no difference in price between the 550, 570 and 1570. In fact I'd say a 550 is likely to be more expensive on the used market. Go for the 1570

That's true, should work out well if he doesn't mind ruining the mirage finish
