Re: Small Body Ibanez Semi-Hollow (non Artcore)?
Found that and checked them out, did some looking around.
Late 70s to early 80s, seem VERY rare, the few I could find for sale were in Gibson territory price wise, ouch. Was hoping I could pick on one up for what I could get out of my 120, which is a flat out kick ass guitar aside from it being too big for me personally. Doesn't look like its going to happen.
Its a shame Ibanez doesn't make something like this at the Fujigen Gakki factory anymore. The Chinese stuff is just too.......cheap feeling for me. Very occasionally I run across one with good fretwork, but that seems fairly rare.
I'd think there would be a demand for a medium priced small body semi hollow. Gibson seems to be doing pretty well with the 339/336/356 stuff. I bet if they had a Japanese made one in the $1k list price range, it would sell pretty well.
