yeah, still in my work clothes, lol.....and no, I would never call anything "relic'd"....even my other guitars just have honest wear and tear....no relic.....that term kind of erks me.....so many "un natural relic guitars out there.....still can't believe most are custom shop.....

anyways, can't wait to get it wired back up and let her rip.....

BTW: her new name is Mrs. Crispy, lol

meh, It's you guitar you do with it what you want. To say it was "Hendrix-ed" you would have to smash it up though.

I am going to put a different pup in and see if the tone hits me....got a couple choices in mind to try..... haven't been able to get a good tone with her(before the torching).....if I can't get the tone right then I just might do that(smash it up).....if I do I will post pics

Re: so I "Jimi Hendrix-ed" one of my guitars

why don't you just sell it to me before that, I've been looking for a 560 and this is the same color as one I lost on ebay a few weeks ago.

we'll see... she isn't my number 1 guitar(or 2 or 3) at the moment.....the body is crazy light in weight compared to my 570....I think that is why the tone sounds thin.... I am gonna swap a few pups in and out over a while(when I have the free'd up funds) and see what happens....

Some multi-colour pups, a little clearcoat and it'll scream custom!

Most of them are basswood, which is a light wood to begin with so if he got an unusually light piece then it would be really light.
