So tempting!

So I'm leaning towards picking up this badboy (RG520qs) with EVH Frankenstein pickups and original edge for $400 (might be able to haggle a little). I guess I'm looking for confirmation that this is one of the last RG models made in Japan before the Prestige line came about. At this price it seems either too good to be true or too good to pass up.

Re: So tempting!

The 520qs are fantastic guitars, ESP. With a good set of pickups. I still own two, and have owned 2 more. $400 with case, decent pickups, and in excellent condition is a decent price. If you can get it lower than that, i'd grab it for sure.

Re: So tempting!

The guy selling it claims it's excellent/near mint condition with the case in the pic(Ibanez). I figure if the pair of EVH pups are $300 alone this might be a worthwhile investment.

Re: So tempting!

I sold mine for $400 with case. Stock p/ups and one small scratch on the face behind the OE.

$400 is a good price, I'd snap it up. (Not a big fan of the EVH p/ups myself, but that's just me. )
