Exclamation Some help on identifying guitar!

I have an opportunity to buy some Ibanez RG guitar on which I don't have much information, so I need your help to identify it.
All I have are these three pictures.

(just add another t - make it go http instead of htp on beggining of link, I wasn't able to post links otherwise)

htp://upload.slike.com/slike/xpnzG.jpg

htp://upload.slike.com/slike/xM9Uj.jpg

htp://upload.slike.com/slike/hIg3e.jpg

Thanks a lot!

Re: Some help on identifying guitar!

Looks like a RG470 or RG570 to me. I can't tell from the pics what the trem is. Where was it made?

Re: Some help on identifying guitar!

I agree with Angent...as it is no edge or lo-pro trem, but looks more like the Ltrs or whatever they are called, and i belive no RG550 or 570 ever got them. Guess it could even be a 320...anyway not a 5xx series.

Re: Some help on identifying guitar!

Ps ask the owner if he knows what model it is, or what year it's made and then check the Ibanez catalouges for that year. And you will probably find out what guitar it is.

Re: Some help on identifying guitar!

What does it say on the pickups, INF? If so then it's a RG470, if not then its a 370.

Thumbs up Re: Some help on identifying guitar!

The point is, I cannot get any further information on this guitar until I go there to see the axe.
Apparently the guy who sells it along with the little 10W Mega amp knows almost nothing about guitars (he's willing to sell the whole thing for like 160 dollars !), so this might be the one-of-a-kind offer, the best bargain I've had on instruments so far.

As a matter of fact, I thought it was an RG470 too, but as far as I know, their stock pickups have some labels on them, something like V7, S1, V8, but I don't see those here, not even the INF/INFS.
Body and pickups look something like the RG270B (don't know about the trem), but the neck and headstock looks more of a RG470.
Who knows, this could even be the RG270B with an RG470 neck.
If so, how could I check (I mean at the guy's place, live) that it's actually an RG470 body (alongside with checking out the model marked on the headstock)?

If the seller lives far away from you, he would be able to take good pictures or bigger pictures so buyers can see it properly. Why not tell him to send you high pixel photos?

Re: Some help on identifying guitar!

It's probably an RG370 if it doesn't have V or INF on it.
