Spotted 2 USA Customs - My local guitar shop has 2 USA Custo

I just got back from a trip to my favorite local music store
where I found 2 USA customs hangin on the wall. *I didn't get a chance to check them out up close but *one of them had a sort of graveyard scene painted on it with "Death" himself featured on the lower left of the body. *All black. The artist had dated it 92'.
they want like $1085.00 For it. It looked to be in excellent condition.
The other one had a series of copper and black (I think) stripes on it with the image of a leather clad woman on it. This one the finish was cracked on the top and appeared to be coming up. It is dated 91' And they want between $600-$700 for it.

One of them was just bought off of ebay and the other was a trade.

How is the price on the first guitar good, bad, *horrible?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Phil

Found the answers to my questions.
The one has to be a "Grim Reaper"
But it also has a reverse headstock and a coil-tap switch..

Is that possibly *a rare combination?

The other one has to be "Leather & Metal"

Custom graphics came with 6 different neck options. There's no way to tell if one combination is more rare, and it will only affect the price if someone is looking for a 'particular' combination.

Thanks for the info Rich.

What about the price? *Is almost *$1100 too much for this guitar.
Or is it to hard to call without seeing it?

Thanks

Phil

Depends on where you're shopping. I don't think a Grim Reaper ever broke $750 on ebay, but in a dealers hands it's fairly normal around $1000.

Some guy traded in the Grim Reaper
for a S520WNF.

It sounds like I have some room to bargin.

Thanks again for the info.

Still not sure if I want to try and buy this or not.

typical trade-in. lots of room to negotiate. pay no more than what you feel the guitar is worth to you... glen

The most I've got a grim reaper down as going for was $991 on the 1st of december last year. It was an AANJ model with an H-H configuration, reverse headstock and sharktooth inlay on a bound rosewood board.

Ebay item number 508561665, from seller shredhead4 to buyer [email protected]

Check out Jerrye's
site :
http://www.ibanezregister.com

You might know this site already, but still, you can find a lot of information about the graphics...
