Standard RG vs. Prestige RG (body)
Hi,
A few days ago I went to my local music store and played an RG2570. I noticed that the forearm contour on the RG2570 is much deeper than the one on my RGT42. Do all Prestige RG have a deeper forearm contour compared to standard RG? I am thinking about getting an RG1570 and would like to know if it has this feature. Thanks!

immediately my reaction says the 1570 and the 2570 have the same shaped body

I forgot to mention that I also played a new RG1570 with the red suede finish. Is it safe to say that it has the exact same body shape as a 2006 RG1570MRB?

MIJ bodies are the same, off the same CNC machine. MIK bodies are different, because it is a different machine. Now you would think that Ibanez would just use the same .dfx file for every CNC machine, but obviously they don't.
