Are they good for shredding and aggressive playing?

Re: Steinberger Synapse

I finally bought onebeginning of the year, US Model, not the Synapse but the GR-4R Tried it for some weeks and the balance was just not working for me, too heavy on one side. Not that it was a bad guitar. It was comfortable, neck was chunky, made nicely. Did't care for the Pups on that one but that could have changed. I than got myseld a Spirit GT-Pro, and the quality of that one is not that good. It needs a serious fretdressing, and also the frets are to small for me. But the handling is way better and its easy to carry around, and it stands without a stand. Also here very chunky neck. If the frets would be better it would be a fun guitar.

Re: Steinberger Synapse

Trem is stable, very hard to get it out of tune. Whole tuning system is by far the nicest i have seen. And it locks by just pushing a lever over. Synapse as far is i know are hardtails

Better than an Edge? Even if it is I think I remember looking them up once and they weren't cheap...
