Stock 2620 audio clip

I've read that some of you 2620 guys didn't like the stock pickups and changed them out. I'm not quite ready to do that. I'm pretty happy with the stock ones. I've owned and played many Ibanez's and Except the my old JS1000, I think the 2620 sounds the best and is quite versatile. Have you put the JS pups in the 2620? Has anyone considered putting a Timmons DiMarzio AT1 in the bridge? I think that would be my first move. What are your thoughts?

Here's what the stock 2620 is sounding like:

Prestige 2620 into JSX Head on Carvin Legacy 2x12 w/v30's
Bone dry, nothing in front of amp or in the loop, nothing added pre or post recording.

Chain of events in the clip:
1. Clean channel bridge pick up
2. 2nd pos.
3. Neck pu
4. Scale on neck pu
5. scale 2nd pos
6. crunch channel low gain
7. crunch channel low gain add "Fat" switch (hear click of switch)
8. crunch channel add more gain
9. switch to ultra channel gain at 75%
10. ultra channel gain at 75% add "Fat" switch (hear click of switch)

Yep. No pedals and nothin in the loop. No EQ added in the recording. Just a little reverb added in the recording.

Re: Stock 2620 audio clip

Here's a little wetness added to the JSX.

http://chriswoodwardmusic.com/PRS%20...gacy%20WET.mp3

I think it sounds better with some 'stuff' added, but for reference I like to keep it dry for you guys so you can get the truth and not a bunch of added 'magic' in the recording.
