Strats with Jumbo frets

I have an American Deluxe series Strat that has the 'medium-jumbo' frets. I am looking for a Strat with 'jumbo' frets. That said, not many models carry the larger frets. Seems like the Hwy-1 and the Specials do have them. Outside of those, the artist series Strats do carry them. I am interested in the affordable Hwy-1 or Special.

Would it be worthwhile to get either of these and only replace the pups? Any insights?

Thx.

Re: Strats with Jumbo frets

Why don't you get your american deluxe refretted with Jumbo's?

My mexican Strat has the tiniest frets, those are getting replaced soon

Re: Strats with Jumbo frets

Like to keep my Deluxe as is, save maybe change the pups.

Never looked at the Charvel, but they look really cool in pictures.

Any thoughts on the hwy-1?
