Suggest me a Ibanez to buy!!

I have a Jackson Soloist, its a pro from the Early 90's. Its one step away from a USA Jackson, so its built pretty good.

However, I have been itching to get and trya Ibanez. Can anyone suggest a good Ibanez to look for or buy. I am looking at the new stuff right now, I currently played a RG350DX today. Its only 350 bucks.. and seemed to be made fairly well. I know I would rip out the pickups and put a much better version in there, but what I am looking for.. what kinda of things should I be looking for in Lower end Ibanez's. Is the Edge Pro II any good, or is it garbage??

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Just what I was going to say. A used RG570, 550, or (my favorite, but probably hardest to find) a 520QS.

Yeah, but you already HAVE a squarey guitar. I say check out eBay for a 540R or 540S (otherwise known as R540, S540, Radius, and Sabre) from the early 90's. They rock - great bridge, pups, and sleek body styles. Different from the soloist.

never played a guitar with such a bridge, but, really, with a second hand RG-5xx you can't go wrong

the reason i suggested the above models: this isn't you main guitar your just wanting something a little hopped up to play on every and now then while your lp remains your main guitar. these are good guitars for that purpose.
