Good luck finding a maple fretboard on a Les Paul.

Actually, the guy from Sevendust had a Gibson with a maple neck, I know Epiphone had them in production, but I haven't seen the Gibson production model of it....

In the 70s Gibson made a LP Custom with a maple neck, but obviously a maple neck on a Gibson anything is the exception.

Anyway to answer the question, I'm sure there are companies out there, any guitar in any combination can be found if you look. Check Carvin

That just might be the ugliest Les Paul ever.

Probably so...It's a good thing I don't own one. I've never been into them period.

+1 ha ha ha - mind you the Les Paul Custom Lite in metallic pink wasn't super pretty either........

In the current range (sorry ZW fans), the only competitors would be the other two Zakk Wilde models.......

Re: is there a guitar with a tune omatic bridge and maple fretboard?

Try checking out some of carvins stuff at www.carvin.com. They build just about everything.

Also, if you're looking for used, check out the Gibson L-6. It was made in the mid to late seventies and is all maple (i have one and it sounds great). It also has Lawrence custom made humbuckers (he designed the whole guitar while working at gibson). They also made rosewood boarded ones so don't get thrown off if you see one in that configuration.

Good luck on your quest of a rare combo...

Re: is there a guitar with a tune omatic bridge and maple fretboard?

Hang on, didn't the OP say "that's not a Les Paul"..?

i.e., he wants a maple fretboard on a guitar "that's not a LP"...?

How the hell did anyone understand that as "are there any maple fretboarded LPs?"
