Hehe, the priciest J-custom on the Japan site at Yen250,000.

It's what I've been waiting for, pickups and all, ebony fretboard, honduran mahagony, neck-tru, oh god!! Dammit, I have to work hard this summer.

Edit: OK i didn't see the Rg9670 but I prefer this anyway, the other one's kinda cheesy.

Nice guitar.

Pup's are cool but quite standard for the J-Custom's nowadays, but they do work well with mahogany.
Which brings me to Honduras (not literally)
Most Mahogany nowdays is Honduras, it's pretty much the standard for mahogany as Brazillian is now banned from cutting so only left over stocks of Brazillian can be used, but to be honest, they hardly differ in qualities anyway.

Neck-thru is always a nice touch, especially a 5-piece laminate, that's it's best feature.

I disagree with you on the 9670 though.
Beauty-wise, gimme' the DBK model any day!

Nice guitar.

Nice guitars and I can bet they're magnificent to play-through neck yum yum.But don't you think they're a bit 'plain' looking. *Visually nothing jumps out at you and says 'Hey I'm cute and expensive and special, not just a RG3120 or whatever' *I usually like the understated look but alittle hint of flashiness would be cool. *My opinion only!

Expect something quite similar for the US market.

Good lord Rich, are you trying to drive me insane with anticipation here, with only 2 days to go??

I guess it's better than having a heart attack when overloaded with it all at once.

I've played Iain's RG9670 (or JCRG-4, whichever you want to call it.) *SWEET guitar. *Looks incredible, sounds even better. *

Ibanez is going to kill my bank account this year! *New Jem, new JS, and now this! *

An RG4 it's not, but a neck through RG for the US market it is. No inlays, which is a mistake IMO.

There is a guitar very similar to the blue version in Rose-morris in Denmark Street in London. It is described as a JCRG2 and it is very nice

But also rather expensive!

BTW - anyone knows where I can find some good pics of the RG9570? I already saw the RG9670 in a previous post, and I must admit it looks better than I immagined, albeith still cheesy.
