Are these PGMs Authentic?

Was searching thru "the bay" and I stumbled across these two PGMs.

PGM401 - Item Number 350417029889
PGM100RE - Item Number 350417025465

They both claimed to be refurbished and have the word "USED" stamped on their headstocks with the last 4 numbers of the serial number removed.

Are these two guitars authentic and would Ibanez release refurbished guitars. And if they did, would they have any playing defects other than possible visual ones?

Re: Are these PGMs Authentic?

if the serial numbers were intentionally scratched out then thats a pretty big sign its fake, because then you wouldnt be able to trace it at all. if they have a number, call it and ask questions, see if you can find the actual sellers address to see if it exists or not. also if you can, obviously look at the pictures and check for inconsistencies with the design or flaws that you know dont appear on actual models. id just wait it out maybe save up a little more and buy one you know is authentic. better safe than sorry!
