Re: THEY BROKE MY NECK THRU!!!!!!!

What's that, like a 100 dollar cost for the company as something to change? =P. To be honest, I cant understand why anyone (as a player) would pay that kind of a price for someone else's signature guitar, unless you're a collector and it's the kinda thing that'll gain value. You can get absolutely ridiculous custom guitars handmade to your exact specs for less than half of that. But if Triggerman really wants a KH that white one's cool lookin'

"Loook mama, dats the kirk hammett guitar! He's from Mertalleca! Can I have it please please please pretty please?"

"But Johnny, look at the price!"

"I won't break it and I'll play it all day!"

*Baby eyes*

...

"Oh all right, just don't tell your father."

And its a shame you couldn't bond with your guitar triggerman.

Nothing a few beers can't fix, though.

Yeah its alot... but such is the price of anything limited... The Jem 20th, Jem10th...so on.

To me the KH Ouijia is what a ridiculous custom is to me.... Limited production, Neck thru body, ebony board, EMG's, Floyd, unforgettable paint (even if some veiw it as weird) and top quality construction.

I already own 3 other Neck thru KH guitars, the Plain black KH2, The KH vintage and the KH3 (Les paul Jr. style body w/floyd rose).

To me it has nothing to do with it being Kirk's signature, I know I'm not him, nor will I ever be. But I've had 8 or 9 completely custom made guitars built over the years and always big regrets about the way they turned out. Plus when they are custom to the level that only you enjoy, then the value is basically nothing. With the KH guitars, yes it has someone else's name on it but so does your jem, or JS or ernie ball Music Man, etc....

It has the features I want, sounds and plays perfect for me.... thats what makes it worth the $$$.
