Thinking about selling an RG770DX-LB Reissue

Hey fellow Jemsters,
I'm from MA and I have an RG770DX Reissue in Lazer Blue that I'm considering selling to fund another purchase. It's dry, meaning no case but it has the whammy bar, and it's in very decent condition. I'm looking for a good price point because there's 2 I saw on ebay but at like 15 and 25 hundred and dude, there's NO way that price is justified. I mean, I get it's limited edition and all but damn lol. I'm really just interested in a quick and fair sale so what do you suggest price-wise? Thanks!

This entirely depends on the condition yours is in. Looking at sold listings over the last few months it appears the $850 is about the top of the mark. The low end seems to be around $450-$500. You'll have to judge a fair price based on a realistic view of it's condition and the lack of a case. Not having an original case would cost you $100. IIRC, these came in TJC cases.

Yeah, see I figured $550 would be a pretty fair shake for a local dude without the case and going through an online sale. It's probably considered a pretty lowball price considering most used 550's go for about that but hey, it's good luck for someone else and it's just stuff anyways. My next Ibanez will probably be no different in a year lol.

Totally agree there

If I ever found a reissue here in Japan, I'd have to pay out of my arse for one because most shops would try to gouge anyone who tried to buy it (especially Kurosawa )
