Total production of JCRG5 - My serial# *is 15001, what's you

I am wondering how many JCRG-5 are out there. The number on my 5 is 15001.
I suppose the Ibanesians didn't build 15001 of them, nor that mine is the first?
Oh, well that would be nice. I don't really know why but it has a nice ring to it. Oke, stop dreaming!
Does anybody have a clou?

If you are talking about the second serial number. Here is how I think it goes the 1 is for 2001 the 5001 is for total j-custom guitars made that year. My 1880 had a number in the 300's. and I bought it in the early half of last year.

Oke, this gives me a clue to how it works. If I understand correctly the search for an answer to the question is still open: how many jcrg5 are out there?
Does anybody have a clue?

The only way you're going to get an answer to that is to start collecting serial #, see how many batches were made, the more numbers the more accurate the estimate will be.

artaddict,

mine is #15063, and you can see her courtesy of jerrye at Ibanez Register Gallery -> JCustom

Hope you love yours as much as I do mine!
(only let down is that they didn't supply a gold wang bar with it though, guess it'd wear off too quick)

Mine is 15020. I bought her in The Guitar Shop, Ghent, after having searched in vain for a Jackson USA Soloist. It was my second choice, but, apart from the fact that it's a bolt-on, you won't hear me complain. I play it through a Boogie TriAxis, a TC-Electronics G-Force and a Boogie 50/50 power amp, and I'm able to create some real huge Micheal Romeo or John Petrucci sounds. Now it's up to me to catch up with those guys (maybe after practicin' for about 100 years?)
