Travelling with your guitar...

I couldn't get the search function to work right for some reason, I already tried...

I have a '91 RG770DXLB. My wife and I are going on vacation to Jamaica and I was wondering if anyone has any information on what you can do to travel on airplanes with a guitar. I much prefer the guitar be in the cabin with me as I don't want it subjected to pressure changes outside the cabin. The climates are exactly the same; Orlando is actually a bit hotter than Jamaica because they have the seabreeze so I'm not worried about the setup changing on me. Just getting it on and off of the plane with me.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Call the airline ahead of time and see what they can do for you. Most will allow you to give the guitar to the flight attendants and they'll check it in a storage closet for you
