Re: Tronical, self tuning guitar ???

Well, the review in Guitar Player said it retunes in about 15 seconds (still not bad), but that it was frequently incorrect by a cent or two (yes, you WILL notice) which then necessitated disengaging the Troni system and tweaking the tuning by hand.

To boot, the test guitars they had failed totally twice within a couple of days of delivery, although the third example still seemed to work well after a few weeks.... ahhhh, one out of three ain't bad?

Gimmick.

buy a tuner.

Not only are kids now adays not really learning to play (drop dees) but now they won't have to learn to tune a guitar either.

Thumbs down Re: Tronical, self tuning guitar ???

just technology! some things should be left alone though. tuning is part of the fun. changing strings polishing its all part of a guitar players blood. Its like buying a guitar that plays itself. this technology would destroy the concept of learning. no I will tune till my fingers fall off!
