trying this again, my custom

I have a custom shop ibanez, but i have no clue what it is. I have looked at hundereds of pictures of guitar and have came up with nothing. this guitar has no serial number on it at all, and i dont think its a fake has to many ibanez parts on it.
I read that ibanez did make some without a serial number, but what i read they were American masters (neck threw).

two dual pups (mmk 53) and one unmarked single.
the input jack is in the side like a JS, but the pups are diffrent than a JS

this is not the orginal paint job, when i got it it was kind of beat up, as we started refinishing it, found out that the blueish/ purple color was a cover up, the body was orignaly siliver. my guess it was repainted at the custom shop.

21st fret

no serial number here, 7101 case ave north hollywood ca

this is on the back of the neck, were it bolts to the body. and dont know what any of it means, the colored dot is pretty close to the color of the guitar when i got it.

so thats pretty much it, please help

Re: trying this again, my custom

Yup -- 540R LTD. Not really a custom, just a misleading "custom made" inlay that came on all of the standard 540R and 540S production models during those years. WALRJ-T = Wizard, Angled headstock, Locking nut, Rosewood fingerboard, Jumbo frets, and shark Teeth. Great guitars, but sorry -- not particularly unusual except for the refinish.

The silver colour you found underneath the blue would be the base coat - it's what gives the metallic effect underneath the blue lacquer.

Re: trying this again, my custom

Thats more like a 540S wizard1 neck as the Radius came with the rounder ULTRA neck?

Re: trying this again, my custom

You would think so, but the later 540R LTDs primarily had Wizards, with many even stamped 540S indicating that they were using the same production runs for both S and R models. However, Frank Falbo (who really knows this stuff BTW) also mentioned in an earlier thread that he had seen 540R LTDs with Ultra necks.
