USRG inlays - here we go again...

Ok, I realize I've posted a bunch of times about this, but I'm going to do it again. USRG inlays are plastic. I hate plastic inlays. Now that I have the time to do it, I'm going to rip them out and inlay something nicer. If anyone can help me out in getting ahold of a pattern for the vine inlays found on a Jcrg4 or a jcrg5, I'd really, really appreciate it. I was originally going to do a jem-style vine, but on closer inspection, I'd much prefer the J-custom vine. Bdeursch, I'm sorry I didn't get back to you, but I got overwhelmed with school and all. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, they are most welcome. When I'm done, I'll post some pics for anyone who's interested. Thanks again

Eddie B, I'm going to post some close up pics of my JC Tree of life Inlay. If there are any you want specifically let me know and I'll email them to you.

I love the way the new jc tree of life looks. Originally, I wanted to do the jem style vine, but after taking a look at a the jc version, it was no contest.

false alarm... Looks like it ain't gonna be a vine after all. Had a kind of falling out with my boss, so I've got mon-wed to finish inlaying the abalam dots I started putting in it. Damn, those plastic suckers go all the way through the fretboard. Had a hell of a time getting them out... Thanks for the help, though. Looks like it's gonna be a pretty bare fretboard after all

For me, the cost is basically nothing. I cut the dots from scrap pieces of abalam. Do you want me to find out what he'd charge for dot replacement or for tree of life inlays?
