VBT700 value?

Hello, just wondering if you chaps could help me out with a pickle here.

I picked up an Ibanez VBT700 in early '09 off ****. It was in very good condition (one small crack in the paint work by a strap holder on the back) and had been rarely used, came with a case and the whole package came to about 380. The thing is, I don't really have a use for it. Its a great guitar, but I almost exclusively play my RG and as such, have no need for the V-Blade as it doesn't feel, "right" to me.
I've done some searching on the inter-tubes and so far, all I can find are online retailers stating its a discontinued model (of which I am already aware) and am unable to find any results on auction sites such as **** or craigslist, so I have no idea if they've gone up or down in price or even the general value of them, as they are quite rare but I see no activity in the realms of both people selling or even trying to find them. Ideally I'd like to make the 380 back, but logically speaking they would be a bit more now due to rarity? Then again, logic does not always apply to trade.

Any Jemsiters able to enlighten me? I asked around town in a few guitar stores, but nobody was sure of what its worth.

Re: VBT700 value?

I always thought these were nice looking V's, and considered getting one a few times until I played one. Just didn't do anything for me.

Despite the fact that they were discontinued they're very, very common on the used market (at least here in the states). I know of three in online used gear stores right now, and here they almost always list them around $400 to $500. I also commonly see them listed for around that same price range on the bay, and in classified ads. The ones in the stores I referenced have been hanging around at that price for close to a year, and I don't have any idea how many of the auctions actually sell so I'd say the amount you're looking to get out of yours is right in line with everyone else, and maybe even at the high end of the range.
