Talking Want an Egen but can't afford it?

I really wish we had a thread to share all the new goodies for next year, because there doesn't seem to be a thread to put this new lovely on, but for the price it looks gorgeous.

I think there are two, including one where this one is already posted, but still, it's a looker.

Damn it, didn't see that thread, guess no one had posted in it for a couple of days, well my bad. Still, awesome looking maple top S with 24 frets, I would have thought it would at least have ZR trem.

As secksy as it looks - if it's not a MIJ, it's not gonna be going through Rich's treatment. And this guitar is MII if it's an entry level model. A fancy and secksy one, nonetheless.

A third of Rich's "treatment" is his attitude toward his customer, and his attention to the details, a third is his price, and then the last third would be his set up! If you ask me, 2/3 of Rich is ten times better than 150% of anyone else!! So even if you get a guitar that isn't set up by him you're still waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of the game!!

Sorry if that's out of line but, it had to be said!

Thanks.

I've ventured into the MII at times, as Dead knows [ooops, Chinese there!], I'd never handle them before because I would never warranty the parts. Now that they warranty for me it's a little different. That doesn't mean I'll be stocking them, but if somebody wants to order one, that's what dealers do

Whatever it is, its not a lopro, since the top of the baseplate has a curve in it where a lopro would have none (Look at the top of the trem and see how theres a darker area.). Though its certainly not an edge 3, a pro, or an EZ.

It looks suspiciously like an original edge, but I have absolutely no confidence in ibanez to be putting THOSE back onto things given their damnable love affair with the Edge Zero.

Speaking of which, Rich, I know the main problem with EZs is the flat pulup due to the zps. I also know that I remove the ZPS on my S's, so how does a ZPS-Less EZ compare to the other trems ibby do? Specifically, does it have the nice and negligible action change that a ZR has?

Rich I believe you would be the best MII dealer, with your setup, and customer service, the guitars would be much better value.

It is definately an Edge 3, the saddles have a shape and quality other trems don't have, and original Edges have the long string holder block adjustment things, whatever they're called, I'll post other edge 3s as reference when I can be bothered, on the specs it's listed as an Edge 3 (Herman Li Special), whatever that means...

The edge 3 has a rounder tail end than the bridge I see there. I don't know how you can see any significant differences betwee the saddles at that res either, they look pretty square to me.

Edges have the poles that stick out behind the fine tuners, it's not an Edge.

See the trems on the first two are the same (Not colourwise of course) and the third is more bulky, and you can slightly see the poles sticking out behind the fine tuners.
