Want to repaint my rg370 - need some advice

I wanted to paint my rg370 from Black to Jewel blue. I have the strings off, wasn't sure how to disassemble the rest of it.

Do the volume, pickup selector knobs pop off?

This isn't my go-to guitar, but I want a project and always like the JB finish. So I've got some wiggle room on mistakes.

Do I need to re-intonate the guitar after I remove and put the neck back on?

Any information would be appreciated.

Yes, the pickup selector knobs pop off. You really don't need to worry too much about the intonation, but I always check my intonation periodically with my Peterson pedal tuner. So, the short answer is no, but I would do it anyway.

Enjoy the project. I actually "tiger-ed" my S470. It was a lot of work, and a lot of fun.
