What is this...?

Hey i was just wondering if you could give me more information about this ibanez j-custom model:

it looks awesome and i would just like to know about its specs and what year it came out.
is this guitar still available and if so, where can i purchase it from?

This is a RG8670-TB from 2004, I have one of those beauties.
The specs are:

・ Flame Maple/Mahogany body
・ 5pcs. Maple/Bubinga neck
・ Ebony w/Flame Maple Binding fingerboard
・ Edge Pro bridge
・ DiMarzio Air Norton (H) neck pu
・ DiMarzio Blue Velvet (S) mid pu
・ DiMarzio Tone Zone (H) bridge pu

minus the pickups, thats the perfect spec for me!

You'll be very lucky to find one even secondhand ! Check out the Ibanez Japan web site and look under J Custom to see the 2006 models. If you want one you'll have to import one !

I've had my share of 8670's and gotta say it's one fine piece of axe!!

Yeah, its just a RG8670. If you can find one second hand, buy it.

That webpage you got the picture on is a guitar shop here in Dublin. They certainly don't have any 8670s in stock. I don't think they ever even had any when it was a current model.

how can you be sure the guitar in the ad is not an 8470 with rosewood fretboard? it doesn't specify and i thougth those two guitars were indentical other than that one spec...
