What did I just buy for dirt?

What is this Regal? Any ideas? I thinks its from the 40's.

Regal is/was a maker of acoustic instrument.. iirc.. they were/are most known for their dobro's. Looks like that one may have a nut extender or dobro metal nut instralled for playing slide and lap steel.

I think so. It's a very warm, loud guitar. I love it. It's a keeper.

I believe so. I think fair market on most Regals are in the $100-200 range depending on year, model and condition. For $20, you got a good deal, pal!

Looks like a great slide guitar.
