A Non-MIJ RG. Probably a 270.

lol it being a wizard 2 doesnt tell the neck construction type. But that picture -> its a 1 peice like the glory day MIJ necks

Korean monster in the making. Probably a 370/470 (same neck).

edit: pardon me, I thought you were paying 60$ for the body.... not the neck as well

Re: What RG is this?

Looks like an MIJ 470.......try to set an Edge or Lo-pro in the cavity, that will tell all

My wizard 2 is a 3 piece maple and from that far away you'd never know it.

Re: What RG is this?

okay so I brought it home.. the finish is a mess. The guy I got it from ,got it from an artist friend who painted, sanded,,,all kinds of stuff to it. there is a drippy glossy coating on it..I sanded away a bit at the neck pocket to see if there was any markings and there was nothing. The neck didn't have any date stamp either.. the headstock is painted over, LOL. My LO-TRS trem II fits it perfect...
1+ is that the frets are in good shape!............................................ ...................Don't mind Archie! He's checking for a logo.

Re: What RG is this?

cleaning the fretboard, looked again and I can barely make out a 97 stamped on the neck.

sorry, but 3 peice necks dont have a scarf joint

Its most likely a MIK rg3/470. It would fit a LO trs II perfectly, because thats what it came with . Get an edge in there, some decent pups, and it will be a very very decent guitar.

What kind of finish you doing for it?
