Try to decide what 7 string to pick without busting the bank..
I had a rg7420 but didn't like that trem..
Where to look for?

late 90's/early 2000's rg 7620...pickups are workable and the edge is far superior to the lo trs trems...d.m.

Re: What will be my next 7 string

I'd second the suggestion for a 7620, but if you'd like a newer guitar that's configured very similarly, look for a used RG752--one of the one's that were made from 2014 - 2016. They were available in Cobalt Blue Metallic and Galaxy Black. Fantastic 7's (with a Lo Pro Edge) if you can find a used one in decent shape.

Might need to stretch your budget a bit for one of these--and that's if you even see one come up for sale. I haven't seen any on the aftermarket for quite awhile.

Yup 7620 from late 1990s to early 2000s. Fantastic neck and lo-pro trem. I just got my hands on a used one and it's exactly what I wanted.
