What will be your next acquisition? - The "Jemsitely Correct

Here's the exact same topic put in "Jemsitely Correct" manner!
I know we are all pretty much guitarholics here. Many have more than one guitars. SO I was wondering what will be your next acquisition and why?
As for me, Im gonna most probably buy a Gibson Explorer and change the pickups to EMG 81s. Im a little happy with my actual Gibson Hawk, but I really want something more aggressive and deep sounding, you know...the beast!! *

YO! Snakepit!

What do you think of mine?

Naw, it's not for sale *I'm just torturing you!

As to my next guitar? I'm actively looking for a Pro 540RHH (87 or 8, an RG770DXVM (a couple of these have slipped my grasp lately) AND (to keep on topic) a Jackson RR5 Rhodes V in white with pinstripes and gold hardware!!

I'd really like to find a sweet deal on a black Dean EVO Special 7.

Or i might just save my pennies for a few years and get a PRS Hollowbody I... 10-top quilt, tiger eye finish, abalone bird inlays, adjustable stop tailpiece, piezo.

I have many that i am looking at adding to my treasure trove. However, as for my most likey next.....
A 540r hss with the ugly "custommade" inlay at 22.
I have a 540r hh and its one of my babys. Its sooooooooo good. its almost religous. I want the one with the single coils to complete the 540r collection of mine. I'll drop a evolution in it in the bridge, and a red vel, and blue vel dimarzio for the singles, and make it my own.
white pickups too. *will look good against the blue color.

thats what i'm up too.

I know 2 guys with a JEM10 in my little town, so I'm waiting for one of them to be crazy enough to sell it...it'll never happen and I won't be able to pay the crazy price they can ask for it nowadays...but that doesn't mean I can't wait for it :silly:

I want a travel guitar. Something that's shorter than a meter in length. Maybe a Chiquita or something like that.

A used Gibson Les Paul Black Beauty Custom - one that I can mod out with EMG's. *Not a historic, but a normal production model with little wear, 2 pickups and Bigsby not required, but accepted.

My dream is 3 LP Black Beauty's. *I already have a 57BB with 3 pickups and Bigsby, and a 54BB - both Historic Editions. *Lovely and heavy guitars indeed. *I keep guitars in alternate tunings. *My new BB (whenever the time comes) will be tuned to A.

57 BB - Standard tuning w/occasional drop-D
54 BB - 1/2 step drop
New BB - A drop

I hate changing tuning on the fly. *Gawd I love Gibsons.

What will be your next acquisition?

well, I just dropped the check for an Ibanez Artist 250.
(and no more jokes about me changing my mind like a woman!! lol)

I ALMOST bought a parker P-40 blem for 550 bux over at american musical. either way, after playing a few, a paker p-40 or p-44 will DEFINITELY wind up in my collection some day.

an american strat (or a mexian with new electronics n a few mods) is a sure thing, as well as a toronado, or somthing less standard. dont know what I want yet, thats a few years away
