What would you do? (What I did) UPDATED

I have some cash and I could do the following:

1) Buy this: http://www.peavey.com/wcs/wcs_step10...385062DFFADFD0. Are there any Peavey dealers here that could show me some luvin?

2) Buy a JEM77FP limited (from Rich).

3) Buy a UV777BK (from Rich).

4) Buy a second-hand Marshall TSL122 combo ($1200) in very close to mint condition.

5) Buy a Carvin Legacy.

6) Put the money toward a new minivan (my wife's choice).

7) Put it in the bank.

I have a JEM7VSBL, S540, and a Marshall VS265R. Neither guitar would be going any where. The Valvestate would be going somewhere!

What would YOU do? And why?

(Mods, sorry if this isn't the right place for this post. Please move it if need be. Polls maybe? Thanks.)

Here are my three choices:
1. Put it in the bank. (Saving is good!)
2. Carvin Legacy. (This is a great tube amp, and since you don't have a tube amp, this might be a good idea.)
3. UV777BK. (These guitars are amazing and adding a seven string to your collection would be inspiring I bet.)

These choices are also in my order of preference. But it's your money.

Spend it only on something you REALLY want, otherwise bank it. Or better yet, give your wife half [so you don't hear the fury later] and spend your half

Rich has a good idea, gotta keep the family factor in mind. If you were inclined toward #1, I'd consider an EBMM Axis...otherwise sounds like you "need" the Legacy the most.

I would discuss EXACTLY what would be coming my way from the wife after getting the minivan , then I would do that.

Save it if you don't need it right now. Watch it grow...

This is completely disposable money. It's not the money I save and we're gonna put some work and more miles into her car to keep it around for a while. So, the minivan will wait.

She has her own!

Yeah, but I want your input.

No, not really. But besides 1/24 Nascars that I get for birthdays and Christmas I don't collect anything else.

Nope.

I am actually leaning toward #1, and I have looked at the Axis. I like the contoured maple top of the Peavey better. And I don't think they have the Axis in purple. My kids love purple.

I would go for the carvin legacy. cause you already have the guitar, and the legacy would definitely sound nice. It would be a good change from your marshall. whatever you do... DO NOT BUY A MINIVAN!

You have kids? How can you NOT have a mini van? I can bring my wife and kids to a gig, and carry all my equipment too, and no one's cramped... A mini van was the best thing that ever happened to our familial transportation needs, and we've always had two cars (at least one of which is a wagon) before...

...and there's a great deal to be said for the piece of mind that comes with a new, warrantied vehicle
